Helen Miller is a wife, mother, author, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of She SOARS Women’s Ministry, a movement designed to help women break cycles of stagnation, confront adversity, and step boldly into God-given purpose. Through her work as the founder of Be The Lender and a Christian Finance Coach, she empowers individuals to build financial stability, steward wealth biblically, and rewrite their financial legacy.
Raised in Houston’s Sunnyside and South Park neighborhoods, which are communities marked by systemic barriers, she defied the odds, becoming the first in her immediate family to earn an undergraduate degree and the first on her mother’s side to obtain a graduate degree.
She is married to Apostle Calvin Miller of Chosen To Be Transparent in Houston, and together they are blessed with four children, exemplifying how faith, resilience, and purpose can transform both life and legacy.

He Restores, Then He Guides
“He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.”
Notice the order in this verse. Before God guides, He refreshes her. Before He sends, He restores her. So many of us are trying to walk right paths on an empty soul: serving, working, mothering, leading while running on fumes. But The Shepherd doesn’t drive His sheep past the still waters. He makes us lie down first.
This week, surrender to God permission to do the first half of the verse. Let Him refresh what this season has drained. Restoration is not laziness, it is preparation. The woman who lets God restore her soul is the woman who can trust the path He guides her onto next. You were never meant to soar tired. Wait on Him and mount up!
“I am not running on empty this week. The Lord refreshes my soul, and every path I take is one He is guiding — for His name’s sake.”
