“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.”
A fresh word from the She SOARS sisterhood, every single day.
She SOARS — speaks to the resilience and strength of a woman.
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill what He has spoken to her.”
July 2024, by Helen Miller
Combat women’s issues through applying The Word of God and community.
Walking in healing, healthiness, and wholeness through teaching, fellowship, and accountability.
She SOARS is not just a name.
It’s a declaration.
It’s a disruption to every lie that tried to label you stuck.
It’s a reminder that we survived seasons…
Helen Miller is a wife, mother, author, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of She SOARS Women’s Ministry, a movement designed to help women break cycles of stagnation, confront adversity, and step boldly into God-given purpose. Through her work as the founder of Be The Lender and a Christian Finance Coach, she empowers individuals to build financial stability, steward wealth biblically, and rewrite their financial legacy.
Raised in Houston’s Sunnyside and South Park neighborhoods, which are communities marked by systemic barriers, she defied the odds, becoming the first in her immediate family to earn an undergraduate degree and the first on her mother’s side to obtain a graduate degree.
She is married to Apostle Calvin Miller of Chosen To Be Transparent in Houston, and together they are blessed with four children, exemplifying how faith, resilience, and purpose can transform both life and legacy.
A daily rhythm to keep you rooted all week long. Fresh nuggets are shared each week.
Ladies, instead of running from uncomfortable situations, let's learn how to sit, grow, and trust God through them! Sometimes God gives us assignments that feel bigger than we are. Even while walking in purpose, we may question ourselves: “Can I really handle this?”
Life doesn't always go our way. Obstacles can make us feel defeated before we even face them. Our first response may be to panic, overthink, shut down, or give up. But I want to encourage you: BE STILL, but don't sit in it alone. GROW through what you GO through!
You may not have a GPS showing you every turn, but you have something greater, a Spiritual Map. Ask God for direction and allow Him to show you YAHWEH!
Remember, trusting God doesn't mean you don't have work to do. Pray. Listen. Move. Grow.
🗣️ LADIES, DON'T RUN FROM IT, GROW THROUGH IT!
Prayer: Lord, teach me how to sit here and be still. Release what is not of you so I can hear you clearly. Show me how to work through this instead of running from it. Help me understand what You're trying to grow in me through this. I will not give up because I know that some woman will need my testimony. Thank you Father, Amen.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.” Isaiah 41:10
If You Arise ☀️You Will Shine☀️
“Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1, NKJV
There is power in the first word of today's Scripture: ARISE. God did not say, “Wait until you feel ready.” He said, “Arise, shine.”
Your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is upon you. Yet sometimes we cannot experience what God has placed on our lives because we are still sitting where He told us to leave.
Faith requires movement.
David was anointed king, but before reaching the throne, he had to leave the shepherd's field and face Goliath. The giant was bigger than David's ability, but never bigger than David's God.
Perhaps God is saying to you today: Get up. Move forward. Stop shrinking. Stop doubting. ARISE!
Some doors open only when you step forward. Some giants fall only when you stand and face them. Your faith may feel small, but your God is not.
Your light has come. Your season is NOW. ARISE AND SHINE!
Prayer: Father, thank You that Your light has come and Your glory rests upon me. Give me the courage to arise from every place of fear, hesitation, disappointment, and complacency. Help me to stop waiting for perfect conditions and start trusting You with imperfect circumstances.
Give me bold faith to step into the places You are calling me, even when I cannot see the entire path. Remind me that I do not have to know everything, I only have to trust The One who does.
Lord, let Your light shine through me today. Open the doors You have ordained, break every chain that has held me back, and give me courage to face every giant standing between me and my purpose.
I declare that I will not remain where fear has kept me. I will arise. I will move forward. I will shine for Your glory. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
WORD OF THE DAY: JESUS
We spend so much time speaking affirmations:
“I am strong.”
“I am enough.”
“I am worthy.”
There's nothing wrong with reminding yourself who God created you to be. But what if…
JESUS is the affirmation…
Jesus is our confidence.
Jesus is our strength.
Jesus is our peace.
Jesus is LOVE.
When fear rises, JESUS.
When you don't know what to say, JESUS.
When life feels overwhelming, JESUS.
When the enemy starts talking, JESUS.
There is POWER in His Name!
Today, stop rehearsing the problem and start declaring The NAME above every name. Whatever you're facing, speak JESUS over it! Say His Name. Trust His Power. Stand on His Word.
JESUS, now that's the affirmation!

DON'T BE PARCHED, BE THIRSTY…
“Every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” John 15:2 KJV
Ladies, there comes a point when we have to stop simply wanting better and become accountable for BUILDING better.
Prayer is powerful BUT Faith is necessary and Grace is available. But there are some areas of our lives where the next level of growth requires us to admit: “God, this area needs work, AND I'm willing to do the work.”
Whatever it is: STOP PROTECTING THE WEAK AREA FROM ACCOUNTABILITY. We cannot transform what we refuse to confront. Sometimes we pray, “Lord, change my situation,” while God is saying, “Daughter, I want to strengthen YOU in the situation.”
And strengthening doesn't always feel comfortable.
PRUNING ISN'T PUNISHMENT
Jesus said that even a branch already producing fruit gets pruned so it can produce MORE FRUIT.
Did you catch that? God doesn't only work on what's failing. He develops what's already fruitful! So, Ladies, if you're currently in a productive season, KEEP GOING!
PRAY – GUARD IT – BUILD
NOTE TO SELF — Be transparent about the season you are in. Ask yourself: What is one weak area I need to stop excusing and start strengthening?
Then ask: What is one productive area of my life that I need to keep watering so it can produce even MORE?
Don't try to change everything today. Identify it. Own it. Pray & Create a plan. Then WORK IT!
Ladies, we are not being called to perfection but to PROGRESS.
YOU CAN'T GROW WHERE YOU WON'T GO DEEP
“Launch out into the deep…” Luke 5:4 KJV
Ladies, most want DEEPER results, but without leaving SHALLOW water. Greater opportunities without greater preparation. Stronger faith without a deeper prayer life. Financial growth without discipline. Healing without confronting what hurt us.
There are some things God want to develop in you that cannot grow in shallow places. Shallow is comfortable because your feet can still touch the bottom. You're in control. You know what to expect. But DEEP requires TRUST.
Maybe God is challenging you to go deeper in His Word, in prayer, accountability and etc. Ladies, if you're already growing, KEEP GOING! Don't become satisfied simply because you've made progress. There is still MORE in you!
THIRSTY THURSDAY CHALLENGE
Ask yourself: “Where have I become comfortable staying shallow?”
Then identify ONE ACTION you can take this week to go deeper. Remember: You don't have to see the bottom when you FULLY trust Our Father who told you to launch out. So get thirsty enough to leave what's comfortable.
GO DEEPER. GROW STRONGER. TRUST GOD MORE.

About five years ago, Donna captured my daughters facing a hill they were afraid to go down. Their peer Paris and mentor Donna J. wouldn't let them quit.
Fast-forward five years: Destiny is active-duty military, and Nevaeh is a track star. Sometimes fear says, “You can't.” But the right community will push you beyond mental defeat and help you discover what's already inside you. Sometimes you don't need an easier hill, you need someone who won't let you quit!
MOVE WITH PURPOSE! 💪🏽👟
Happy Fitness Friday, Ladies! Every step counts! Whether you're walking, stretching, hitting the gym, or simply choosing to move more today: MOVE WITH PURPOSE!
Your health is a gift, and taking care of your body is part of showing up for the woman God is calling you to become. Strong body, mind AND FAITH!
“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]” Philippians 4:13
So, Ladies… SHOW UP FOR YOU TODAY! Move your body. Fuel your temple. Keep the faith. Become your best.
Get Up Sis!

Cala reminded us that pressure is NOT permission to give up! You may be tired, stretched, frustrated, or uncomfortable, but GET UP, SIS!
Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. That means there is still purpose attached to your life, even under pressure.
Pressure may change your posture for a moment, but don't let it cancel your purpose!
A time of rest and reflection. Enjoy by unwinding and reading this week's Devotional Page.
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”
You cannot always carry old mindsets, old habits, old wounds, and old expectations into a new season. Sometimes the new thing we've prayed for requires us to release something we've grown comfortable carrying.
Ask yourself this week: What am I holding onto that no longer belongs where God is taking me?
Making room may require forgiveness. It may require boundaries. It may require changing routines, relationships, or expectations. Release does not erase what happened—it simply refuses to let yesterday occupy tomorrow's space.
“I release what has expired. My heart, mind, and hands are open for the new thing God is doing.”
“My cup runneth over.”
Ladies, you were never designed to continually pour from an empty cup. We can become so committed to helping everybody else that we ignore our own spiritual, emotional, and physical depletion.
Jesus withdrew. Jesus rested. Jesus prayed.
Being available to everyone is not the same as being assigned to everyone.
This week, allow God to refill you. Protect your prayer time. Rest without guilt. Receive encouragement. Say no when necessary. You serve differently when you're pouring from overflow instead of exhaustion.
“I give myself permission to be filled. I will not pour from emptiness. God is restoring my overflow.”
Your request goes directly and privately to the She SOARS leadership team. You may leave your name blank if you prefer.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…” Revelation 12:11.
